Hubby and I are trying to get pregnant and I decided to call dibs on the following names and combinations thereof:

• Girl
  • Natalia Isabel - I love the name Isabel
  • Natalia Isabella
  • Anna Elizabeth - I’d call my daughter Anneliese for short cuz I’ve loved that name for a long time
  • Rosa Victoria
  • Rosalinda Victoria - Rosalinda is my mom’s name
  • Azucena - this was what my original name was intended to be instead of Zulema
• Boy
  • Rosauro - my dad’s name
  • Gabriel - I love this name
  • Vicentino - hubby’s top pick
  • Valentino - hubby’s second top pick

Funny thing is I want to have boys, but it’s easier to come up with girl’s names. Go figure.

Just got my new digital camera—the Canon A80 to be exact—and I’ve taken my first shot with it.

But I need to learn how to use a sewing machine! My mom knows how to use one but I learn the easiest in a constructed learning class-type environment. I am massively the person who needs clear-cut, 1-2-3 instructions on how to do things. I HATE vague instructions. Vague anything else is ok, but when it comes to instructions? There had better be bullet points, numbered lists, diagrams, arrows, everything!

So my idea is to have a hard drive in my head (yes, in my head) that I can insert knowledge into. So if I want to learn how to sew? Insert ”Sewing for Dummies” into my HEAD! YEAH!! …. I need chocolate…..scatch that, I need a nap….

Today I figured out that I can have a folder of shortcuts on my Mac OS X dock. “How is this possible? She’s talking crazy!” you might exclaim. But wait! It is possible!

First create a folder, then put aliases in it to your fave programs (btw: an alias is like a shortcut in Windows). Then make an alias of that folder and place that folder in your dock by the trash can. When you click and hold on them, the folder contents open up in a small menu.

I haven’t made entries lately cuz I’ve been so busy with everything. I’ve been looking for knit ponchos to buy for just about a year now. I haven’t been able to find any that are inexpensive. Victoria Secret had one for a while but fukc that, I’m not spending $60+ when I can make one myself for a 1/3 of that! So I’ve been making one since last year.

Anyways, I found three at this one store on State & by Madison called Forever 21. While shopping at H&M, I asked the workers there if they had any and one cashier pointed me to Forever 21. I was so happy that I found inexpensive ponchos that I almost cried. Sure they’re not the best quality but who cares! I’m happy and that’s all that matters.
