Yesterday on my way to work there was hardly anyone on the streets, so I snapped a quick pic with my camera phone. Here’s a shot of Lake Street facing west from Wabash Avenue (click the thumbnail for a larger view).

Okay, I’ve updated my blog to the latest version code-named “Duke” (as mentioned in blog entry: WordPress 2.0) and it was very easy. All about keeping up-to-date in ’06.

Today’s 3 p.m. sugar fix has been brought to you by Breyer’s vanilla ice cream and A&W root beer! Just about 15 minutes ago, I made myself a root beer float with the ingredients bought by a guy here at work.

I’m getting better as I get older. But isn’t that everyone? You get wiser, gain life experience… and have more money to spend on all the stuff you need to look better. Tummy-tuck here I come!

No, I couldn’t do that to myself. I’d rather get my jaw fixed. Oh! You didn’t know? My lower jaw is a tad underdeveloped so I need surgury to have my lower jaw moved foward. No biggie—but I don’t think we have the money to do it. Actually, I don’t know if the insurance would cover all of it or not. Eh. So my jaw pops sometimes and sometimes I have tension headaches. It’s a slice of life, huh?

I’ve trained myself to compensate by jutting out my chin a touch and most people don’t notice. Unless I eat in front of people and have food fall outta my mouth. Yeah, good times!

I’m so glad I can jam to music here @ work plus the fact that I can share my iTunes and infect others with my music. Right now, I’m jammin’ to Tijuana No’s “Pobre de Ti”. I’ve found a lot of new Spanish Rock music that I love, now I only have to find a record store where I can buy them that’s convenient for me to get to.

In other news, I found a site that has O’Reilly books online on Web Design. I remember visiting this site long time ago then it was taken down for some reasons, so take time to visit while u can.

As a decent web designer, you should have all these books; of course I don’t have all these books myself, but I never said I was decent.
