meanwhile I’m getting heavier!!
So I’m still pregnant! The due date was yesterday but I’m not surprised as most babies are NOT born exactly on their due date. I’m most likely going to have what I’m calling a “scheduled chaotic event” a.k.a. an induction. I like this idea because it’s less shocking to me than a random chaotic event water breaking and “OMG! OMG! THE BABY’S COMING NOOOOWW!!
”
I can walk in like I walk into the dentist to have a tooth pulled. Of course this will be much more painful.

Happy New Year to everyone:!: I wish everyone health, happiness and love. And hope everyone goes out to see Pan’s Labyrinth because it is a wonderful film.
I can only describe it as a movie of a child’s dream and an adult’s nightmare. Please go see this movie! It is directed by Guillermo del Toro who also directed Hellboy, Blade II, and Mimic among other lesser-known films.
He’s one of the great emerging Mexican filmmakers in recent time, along with Alejandro González Iñárritu–director of Babel, Amorres Perros and 21 Grams–and Alfonso Cuarón–director of Children of Men, Y tu mamá también, and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
Here’s a Google Video of the Charlie Rose interview of Alfonso Cuaron, Guillermo del Toro, & Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu. Enjoy!
