pearly sun
On the train ride home.
Today after work I joined some friends to drink up one guy’s last day at the company. We went to a fancy mexican restaurant for drinks & appetizer eats. Barro’s, the place we went to, was very hot and stuffy but the pineapple Malibu’s I had were yummy.
Afterwards, on the train ride home, I was watching the sun behind the clouds and it looked like a pearl. The were two kinds of clouds: some were hazy and some were thin, dark but still curvy clouds. A golden glow turned the hazy clouds into skim milk and it made me think of the movie “Legend
” where Oona was on the top of the chimney and was trying to pick up a mirror to reflect the waning sunlight to kill the lord of darkness.
I really want to be in that forest full of feathers… or something.
/me snaps back to reality and gets off the train to continue life in 2005.

i have caught many beautiful sunsets while on the train. i love it. that is why sometimes i can’t read the book i have because i can’t help but look to the skies

What is it about the sky that attracts everyone? When I dream of flying, I’m usually flying a few feet above the ground, must be my fear of heights. But I do want to skydive at least once in my life. :tee-hee:
