they finally admitted to what we all knew

Apple has settled on a class action suit that claimed the iPod battery were sh*t:

Approved by the Superior Court of California for San Mateo County, the settlement covers all consumers (class members) who purchased a first-, second-, or third-generation iPod model on or before May 31, 2004 and experienced “battery failure.” Apple has agreed to the settlement without admitting fault or misrepresentation.

The proposed settlement includes getting a $50 voucher from Apple and an extended warranty on your iPod. With more attitude than a diva, to this i say “Mmmm-hmmm!” It’s about damn time too.     Yeah, I’ve already printed out the claim forms. I’ve had my iPod replaced twice because of battery problems and software glitches. It’s good news all around!
