Some of us from work attended an AMC
meeting on Flash Video and one of my friends did this sketch for me. He was a bit bored because he’s a assistant art director and isn’t really into Flash video like I am. So here’s a thumbnail of the sketch he did on my notepad.
Saw two movies this weekend.
One movie I saw this weekend was Sin City
and it was visually stunning. There was one part in the movie where you see a little girl (Nancy) tied up sitting on a stool in a dark room with brick walls. You see her turn around and look at someone who opens a door behind her. All you see is the light that enters the room and how it casts an crooked shadow across her and the wall in front of her. I really loved that shot.
Another great movie I saw was Diarios de motocicleta (Motorcycle Diaries)
on the early years of Ernesto “Che” Guevara
. The landscape of the movie beautiful, even the deserts. You can really understand how he was changed by his trip with his best friend. There’s another movie in production about his life in the later years and Benicio Del Toro
is playing Che
in the movie.
Benicio also came out in Sin City and his character was so shady. He’s such a great actor I love watching him. I have also discovered that I love Gael García Bernal
and by love I mean I want to join the party in his pants.
Just in case you don’t read my web news section.
The first time Google broke the news about their new GMail email offering 1GB of storage was 4/1/04 and everyone thought it was an April Fool’s joke. This year, also coinciding with April Fool’s day, Google plans to double Gmail capacity–at least
upping their limit from 1GB to 2GB. Google is really out to change the world, but in a good way.
“But Einstein didn’t believe in black holes” a quote from the article: Black holes ‘do not exist’
. Hm… my brain is trippin’.
Here’s a great April Fool’s joke: Google Gulp ![]()
