Yet another so-called syndrome.
There’s a new syndrome out there called “MAIDS” which stands for Mobile and Internet Dependency Syndrome. The article Brits feel lost without mobiles: study 
talks about how some people get so hooked into their mobile life that they feel disconnected and lost if they don’t have their cell phones with them–to the point of panicking! I know how that feels and I can relate, so I, too, have MAIDS. 
In other news, I recieved an email from EFF and it included a link to this blog: Stay Free! Daily which is a “nonprofit magazine covering American culture, politics, and life in South Central Brooklyn”. Cool!
