So, until further notice, I’ll be using the default stylesheet until I can take apart the new files that come with WordPress and figure them out.

Yes, I’m a sucker for beautiful things and I want the new Motorola SLVR V8 . It’s not even on the HelloMoto website yet. The site does sneak a peak at a product named PEBL V6 which is another new cellphone.

But I’m in love with the SLVR (pronounced “sliver”)… well, that is until the next hot phone comes out.

WordPress has updated their blogging application to version 1.5, codenamed Strayhorn .

This release is named “Strayhorn” in honor of Billy Strayhorn the pianist and sublime composer who worked closely with Duke Ellington and wrote tunes like “Take the A Train” and “Lush Life.” We thought he was perfect to represent the power and elegance of this release, which has been under intense development and testing the past few months.

It has tons of new features like flexible templates that allow you to manage more of your blog’s web pages and better comment management. I’m probably going to update either today or tomorrow which that involves backing up everything, deleting virtually all the old WP files and uploading the new files. You can’t do that in one swift motion, so read the instructions carefully.

Two people at my work had strep throat and now I think it’s my turn. I’ve already had strep throat once, but I don’t know if I could catch it again. My entire throat is sore and my nose is stuffed–I hate breathing through my mouth. I feel like Napolean Dynamite .

OMG! Just as I visited IMDB to get the link to the movie, I see that the trailer for The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy is on Amazon.com . I read the set of books a while back, I’ll have to find it and flip through the pages again. Yeah, I’m a little nerd–but I’ve also been called a techno-babe. Still sick tho.

So it’s :heart: Valentine’s day and the el train decides this morning to stop working for 1/2 an hour which makes me late to work. I was supposed to take part in a skit at the bi-weekly staff meeting this morning to demonstrate how everyone at work is supposed to be an adult and clean up after themselves in the kitchen. Sad to say I had to call in and say I wouldn’t be able to perform.

On the train, I like observing people and what I notice is that people get territorial. They hold on to the poles like it’s their own, like it’s their own property. I have at times had to move people because they hold onto the poles near the exit and I’m trying to get out—yeah, I’ve gotten looks. You wanna start sumptin?! WTF? Is there like some sexual fixation with gripping the poles within an inch of their lives? Explain that to me.
