Certainly took me long enough to sign up and add Google AdSense to my blog. I do update my blog quite a bit so hopefully I can start making some money. I need to start saving money for my ‘in-the-works’ baby.

What I really need to do is create a db of my links and use PHP to read the db and create the page on the fly. Yeah, I’ll just whip that of my back like a cartoon character who magically has the perfect tool somewhere behind their back. These are links I have gotten on either the CSS-Discussion mailing list or the WSG mailing list.

Oh, you didn’t know? See to save your parking space in front of your house, you bring out a kitchen chair and place it in the center of your parking space. Pretty much anything works, but the chair is my fond memory of my childhood winter days. I remember my parents driving down the block and I could see one spot empty but with a metal-legged chair with a yellow plastic seat and back. I heard that Chicago is the only city that does that or did that; don’t know if we still do that, I’ll keep a sharp eye out for kitchen chairs ok? We actually used our garage to park our car; but to be fair a majority of the houses were 2- or 3-flats; since we owned the one we lived in, we could use the garage. Then we moved to a neighboorhood with single family houses so no more chairs. Anywho, it’s snow, snow, snow for us in Chicago so I can finally bust out my fake ugg boots.

I finally got around to redoing my blog and I’ve gotten great feedback so far. My one best girlfriend let me know to have the anchored roses on the bottom match the masthead better; originally, they didn’t have that Wicked Worn look. I’m going to change my external links to use a different method as described in this article from SitePoint: Beware of opening links in a new window.

In other news, I got my hair done this weekend and man it looks good! However, I need a Paul Mitchell smoothing iron. Gonna see if I can get a hook-up, if not I’ll get it on eBay. My new hairdresser, Gil, is also my husband’s barber. He gave me a great all over color and chunkier highlights. Took about 4 hours for the whole process. :what?: But I got a deal on the price because he’s also our good friend. I woke up sooo late this morning I didn’t get a chance to do the ‘do right so no one here can tell I got my hair done. Not that I need to be fawned over, jeez, if you think that you don’t know me at all. I like compliments but not being fawned over, that’s just wierd.
