Since when did the web get so fuckin complicated? Let’s do away with all these kinds of windows that a browser can vomit onto your desktop ok? And while we’re at it, a pop-up window is a pop-up window is a pop-up window. If you call it a ‘daughter window’ b/c you think it sounds fancy, you’re wrong and you need to be shot. :-@

Go get your latest version of sIFR over at Mike Davidson’s blog. Specifically the entry on sIFR 2.0. There’s been tons of improvements in browser support, bug removals, and more. Can’t wait to get home and update my blog.

My hubby got in contact with a guy selling Soda Stereo/Gustavo Cerati videos on VCD and VHS from Argentina. Well, after a long trail of emails back and forth and money sent we’ve recieved the package today. I’m in heaven! We got an HBO special on Soda Stereo’s Ultimo Concierto; bunch of Soda Stereo videos; and another bunch of Gustavo Cerati’s videos; tour videos and backstage stuff. The VCDs do play on our DVD player, some of the videos look compressed tho. So I’m sitting here watching them all and laughing at the odd direction of some videos and how young the band looks. What we need now is Soda Stereo’s Unplugged show at MTV, which was never released. I :heart: Gustavo Cerati.

In my current issue of Wired they have an article about the difficulty of maintaining your sanity during travel to and from planets in outer space. One section is called Catfighs where the crew members begin to get tired of each other since they’re stuck with each other for the long haul. How a person can drive another one crazy with his one story he tells over and over or something. I got to thinking, that’s me here at work! Some people tend to tell the same stories or the same jokes. Like WTF? I heard it already! :-@

Ok, if it’s cold outside, I put on a sweater. So if you say that you’re cold and I see you’re not wearing a sweater, then I’m going to call you dumb! Glad to make that known.

In other news, I’ve been busy working on an expandable banner for my job. It’s been fun but a bit confusing at times as it’s the first one we’re doing here. If you don’t know about expandable banners, click on over to PointRoll and view their samples. I’m sure you’ve seen them, they are those banner ads that come up over text and won’t go away. Or those banner ads that click open to a larger size over a webpage’s content.
