is all rock the same?
My thoughts on english vs. spanish rock and some other random thoughts.
The other day I was thinking, ‘if I love spanish rock, why don’t I listen to english rock?’ There are so many variations of rock, in both languages. This morning, while waiting for Tino to wake up and give me a ride to the el train, I started watching MTV and a video came out : Good Charlotte’s I just want to live and I liked it. Rock like that I think I can listen to. I do enjoy The Strokes, Beck, Sugar Ray, The White Stripes, and Linkin Park. But I hardly listen to it. I think I’ll have to find someone to share that music with me.
Here at work some people share their iTunes libraries and I can listen to something different. To be honest, though, it isn’t all music I would tune the radio to if I had a choice. Anyway, after the Good Charlotte video was a Jay Z/Linkin Park video they did called Numb/Encore. It rocked so I’m looking for it, and by looking for it you should know what I mean. 
In other news, Bit Torrents rock, ’nuff said. I need to upgrade my home computer to Win XP so I can use their Fast User Switching feature. That way I can leave stuff running in the background while the in-law’s kids use the computer with their user-restricted log-in. I also need a new laptop, my teeth massively fixed, Tino needs his teeth fixed too, I need a car. Don’t even get me started on my wants!
