kick ass drop shadows and favorites JS code
Drop shadows that scroll over your content, fixed onto the browser window!
I’ve seen this before, but now it’s explained. It’s a little something called: Scrolling Drop Shadows and it’s kick-ass!! Of course, it doesn’t work in IE because it uses PNGs. But who cares?
I want to try it with an image, just to see if it works; like a tuft of grass on the bottom of the browser’s inner window. Can you imagine?!
Also: My Favorite JavaScript for Designers is a collection of quick JS snippets of code that are extremely useful. In the comments for that entry I found a link to how to: Create a Pull Quote with Javascript (and CSS).

The tuft of grass is actually a much neater application. It adds another dimension, whereas shadows just create depth (deep, ain’t it?
). Of course, since my whole blog is under CC, you may implement your own tactics. But say so when you do use my code. I like to see the applications over the whole web

Yeah, I wanna try it on a test page; sorta like a ‘thinking-out-loud’ test u know? But I’d never steal code and claim it as my own. I leave or add those ‘this code created by such-and-such’ comments in. Any source code I get off the web, I usually test/edit first before I use officialy use it.
Please don’t think I’d steal code. I shiver at the thought.

Oop! That reminds me to add the sIFR technique to my colophon. It’s been updated so I’ll post an entry on that soon-ish.
