I call dibs

Hubby and I are trying…

Hubby and I are trying to get pregnant and I decided to call dibs on the following names and combinations thereof:

  • Girl
    • Natalia Isabel – I love the name Isabel
    • Natalia Isabella
    • Anna Elizabeth – I’d call my daughter Anneliese for short cuz I’ve loved that name for a long time
    • Rosa Victoria
    • Rosalinda Victoria – Rosalinda is my mom’s name
    • Azucena – this was what my original name was intended to be instead of Zulema
  • Boy
    • Rosauro – my dad’s name
    • Gabriel – I love this name
    • Vicentino – hubby’s top pick
    • Valentino – hubby’s second top pick

Funny thing is I want to have boys, but it’s easier to come up with girl’s names. Go figure.

movie rental weekend

We rented three movies this…

We rented three movies this weekend for the boredom:

  1. One Hour Photo
  2. La Femme Nikita
  3. Proof of Life

Out of those three, I think the one that affected me the most was One Hour Photo. It had such twists and developed at a perfect pace. The DVD extras had one piece where the director–Mark Romanek–explained the use of color in the film. The movie had a heaven, a hell, and a purgatory–all shown in the movie with the use of color, lighting, and the environment.

La Femme Nikita was the original movie that Point of No Return was trying to be. The American version is crap compared to the original French film. Yeah, La Femme Nikita is in French and I loved it.

Proof of Life was pure action and Russell Crowe‘s sweet hotness.

busy week

I’ve had a busy week…

I’ve had a busy week so I haven’t had time to post. Got some news tho. I’m trying to get pregnant; actually since the vacation. Hopefully, I brought back a souvenir? tee-hee

Vacation was great: we’d have breakfast every morning, go on our adventure for the day, return home once the rains started and eat lunch; then nap and shower for dinner. The best beach in Puerto Vallarta is an island off the coast of the town of Guayabitos. We had to take a bus there, it was about a 45min ride or so.

In other news, I got called by a connection of mine for a second interview at a place I interviewed a while back. They’re not downtown tho and that might just be the deciding factor for me. We’ll see. I’m not liking work too much this week. The boss man made a business decision that, to some of us, is counter-productive and slows the work flow down. Can’t say more than that.
