I had a good weekend…
I had a good weekend and it started with free drinks at the Hard Rock Hotel. Though, it’s not the best place in terms of friendly staff and not being offered drugs in the ladies room. Cuz I can get that anywhere! Ha-HA! Anyways, it’s weird drinking with work people, I don’t know how to relate to them. Plus, being an introvert doesn’t help matters much. But I did have my dig camera with me so that, at least, helped me loosen up.
Saturday was a dinner date. Sunday, my hubby and I went to see a movie: Hero. It was sub-titled and let me tell you, the characters say a lot. I thought I was a fast reader, but some sentences just flew by!
I drove there and back home. We meant to go to one theatre and ended up at another one by sheer luck! We went to a Loew’s theatre in Woodridge, and we coulda snuck in to see the movie. There was nobody securing the entrances to the movie theatres! (We did buy a ticket tho, so don’t assume the worst.) The entire seating arrangement was spaced out perfectly. Me likey! AMC City North theatre is good, but the rows are too close together for my tastes.
(btw: me driving is a big deal so congratulate me! Highway and everything! i drive too fast tho, sometimes I’d do 80mph on the highway. oops!) :tee-hee:
