Zoé – Love

My translation of one of my favorite songs.

I found the lyrics to a song I love! The artist is Zoé and the song is called Love.

Love, love, love.
© 2003 Zoé

In your planet I remained,
Was for a time and it was never my plan,
But my ship was damaged
and now I am lost here,
In mornings with three suns
and multiple visions, transparent mountains, anemones of light,
Particles of love and memories of you.
Love, love, love.

Zoé

I just thought that was so beautiful.

CD on one side, DVD…

CD on one side, DVD on the other.

…DualDisc product has a full album on a CD side of the disc and the album in enhanced sound–such as DVD-Audio–on the other side.

DualDisc received an impressive response from consumers in test markets conducted earlier this year, according to the consortium.

I made an avatar of myself and it’s an uncanny resemblance:

Here’s where you can make your own (if you’re bored): Portrait Illustration.

I found a review for a movie that looks interesting: I ♥ Huckabees. The official website is marketed like the actual corporate website for the retail chain that appears in the movie: Huckabees. Plus, one of the characters founded a chapter of the Open Spaces Coalition and it has a website too! I’m impressed, realistic looking websites set up for the movie that don’t actually show the movie trailer. I’m very impressed.

the #1 Cubs’ fan?

Yesterday, while I was waiting…

Yesterday, while I was waiting for my hubby to pick me up from the train station I saw what I believe to be the number 1 Cubs’ fan. He was, I’d have to say about 80+ years old, and he got off one of those hotel shuttle buses. His friend/son helped him get to his walker. He had on a Cubs’ hat and a Cubs’ shirt on with blue pants. All the while, he would pass out a card of some sort to anyone he passed by.

I stood there thinking, “What is he passing out… his business card? why is he passing out his business card?” No, he wasn’t passing out his business card, he was passing out the Cubs game schedule! It was so endearing to see this man, who could barely walk, representing for the Cubs, wearing Cubs colors, and passing out schedules! Everybody say, “Awwww!”
