It’s going to get hot…
It’s going to get hot today! Up to 90°!! So I don’t think I’ll be attending the weekly volleyball game the team at my work goes to. It’s just going to be way too hot. We don’t want to have a meltdown now do we?
Yesterday, my hubby and I threw a small get-together with a few friends and had seafood salad, arracherra, hamburgers, frijoles con chorizo and a few other good stuff. I was mostly my hubby’s friends from work there cuz they’re great (grown-up-type) people. My hubby’s friends from the hood are a whole different matter.
Anyways, there were three children there providing endless entertainment as they fought over our dog’s baseballs and toys. K-Pax was great with the kids tho, she wasn’t aggressive at all, even as they grabbed her toys. She was very playful and only played tug-of-war with the grown-ups. It was our first successful backyard party!
So my personal crisis is…
So my personal crisis is over. My iPod was suffering from hard drive clicks-of-death. And I was about to cry!! I thought I had demagnetized it somehow by carrying it in my purse which uses magnets to keep it closed (yes, it’s clasp-free!). So I took it to the Apple Store downtown cuz I still had a one-year warranty and guess what? Guess what?! They replaced it with a brand-spanking new one!!
I think I’m better now.…
I think I’m better now. I was feeling low since the funeral, the death made me scream “baby! now!” at my husband.
Things at work are ok, I’m working on a new personal project since the department heads believes in “personal growth” and that we (us in the team) should be reading a book a month and all that.
So on to my latest personal crisis: my iPod has hardware errors (hardware because it’s clicking when reading the hard drive). I thought it was a software error, but because of the clicking, it has to be a hardware error. So I’m going to take it into the Apple Store downtown and see what they can do. I have a one-year warranty with them and since I bought it this year, I should be covered.
