big weekend
Let’s see, where to begin.…
Let’s see, where to begin. Saturday hubby and I went to visit his one cousin that was in a car accident. (Turns out his son sees his grandmother who passed away in a grocery store. *shiver* But I’m thinking, why would she be in a store? Guess she’s keeping an eye on her grandkids. *double shiver*) We took him our PlayStation 2 so he could have something to do since he can’t work for about three months or so. His wife is much better, she got her memory back. There’s a lawsuit pending since it was seven people in the van and his mom died; plus him and his wife can’t work. After that we went to see a three-flat that’s on sale and we might go halves with a good friend to buy it and rent it out. Let the rent pay the mortgage and sit back and let it accumulate value. Nothing like building equity!
Sunday hubby and I went out to have lunch at Barnelli’s Pasta Bowl down by Archer & Harlem. We always order one Chicken Parmesan with Mostaccioli and one Chicken Ceaser Salad and split it between the two of us. That way we don’t leave too many leftovers. Then we went to buy our plane tickets for our trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. What we ended up doing is buying plane tickets to Gaudalajara, Mexico and we’ll take a scenic trip on a first-class bus to Puerto Vallarta. Or my aunt’s Property Manager might end up picking us up. See my aunt has various properties out in Puerto Vallarta and this one guy works for my aunt and is in charge of all the properties. He’s kick-ass and knows all the hook-ups!
So then later that day, we took my parents out to dinner and a movie to celebrate my dad’s birthday, which was on Thursday. I gotta start popping out some grandkids from my parents soon! We went to a sweet mexican restaurant where they make their tortillas fresh every day and their salsa is always spicy. Then we went to see Bourne Supremacy which was good in that the camera shook a lot—so much so that you felt as if you were in the movie running around too. Lotta action and the guy that was chasing Jason Bourne was SO HOT! (Karl Urban)
The funniest thing that happened was when we were watching the previews. A preview came out for a movie called “The Forgotten” about a woman who wakes up to find out that her son has disappeared from her life completely. All his pictures are blank and all that scary stuff. Later on even her hubby is walking down the street and when she talks to him he says, “Who are you? I don’t know who you are!” Then she finds someone else who has suffered the same thing where his daughter is like completely gone. So then in one part of the movie she runs down an alley and is breathing really hard and then the whole screen burns and boils. It was very dramatic and it turns out it was the actual film actually burning. Everyone thought it was part of the movie and we were all amazed at the realistic effects!!
