Not only does IE suck in terms of security but also in terms of Web Standards in general. So get the word out because Mozilla Firefox can kick IE’s ass!! Yeah, I said it! What? What?!

Today we’re going to a Cubs game! Whooot!! The company is all going over to a bar that has a roof from where you can see Wrigley Field. Free drinks & eats for everyone here! So we’re getting out early and heading out to the game. GO CUBS!!

I lost my cellphone today, actually just 30 mins ago! I lost it on the Orange line train. AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRGGHGGHGGH!! :-@

At work today, the internet went down and was out all day and I couldn’t get anything done. Well, not like I had loads of work to do, but still. It sucked. So now I have no cell phone. I want to cry! I feel lost without it, like I have no safety line, no way to find myself!! I know you understand what that feels like. I’m not like this huge gabber which my cellphone permanently attached to my face. I use it mainly for like, “Can you pick me up?” or “Where are you?” type stuff.

So I immediatly called Verizon and told them that I lost it and if there’s anything I can do. They let me know they’ll temporarily disable it so if anyone finds it, they can’t use my line. But now I have to get a new cellphone and then remember all the phone numbers I had in there to add them in again. Fuckin’ hell.

But I need to learn how to use a sewing machine! My mom knows how to use one but I learn the easiest in a constructed learning class-type environment. I am massively the person who needs clear-cut, 1-2-3 instructions on how to do things. I HATE vague instructions. Vague anything else is ok, but when it comes to instructions? There had better be bullet points, numbered lists, diagrams, arrows, everything!

So my idea is to have a hard drive in my head (yes, in my head) that I can insert knowledge into. So if I want to learn how to sew? Insert ”Sewing for Dummies” into my HEAD! YEAH!! …. I need chocolate…..scatch that, I need a nap….

Can’t believe today’s Wednesday already! It seems like time is going faster now that I’m older and it sucks. My life right now is at its defining point. I feel like this is it, this is “my life.” I’m a grown-up adult. When I was younger I always said I wanted to be a scientist when I grew up. Isn’t that weird? I was already a nerd at such a young age.

Well, I’m not a scientist, not by a long shot. I’m happy doing what I do, slightly coding my way through my work. My husband, though, is a whole differnet matter. He hasn’t found his passion in life. He loves his job, but it isn’t exactly personally fulfilling.
