It’s currently 6:46 pm and I am still at my internship. Why? Because the client loves to make last minute changes, and add to that the creative director making his own last-minute changes.
Man! See, creating banner ads is more of an art then a science. But the science part is what gets you. Making animated GIF banners from PSDs that contain rich photographs just doesn’t work. So, now the Assistant Creative Director has to re-work several files which I must then take and build & optimize for the web again… and again… etc.
In other news, I finally got assets for the flash home page I’m making and then they decide to add on an static HTML version for those who don’t have flash. Yes, and do you want fries with that?

Bought a book over the weekend to help me with Flash MX’s AS code. The director of my department wants me to do so AS magic with a flash file I created. I actually had fun creating the flash file cuz it’ll be a news tool with animations that switch the news items when they’re clicked on. The director wants the animations to start automatically when there is no user input.
We thought of using a “for loop” but the loop would not recognize button clicks so… we’re back to square one.

Finally added the current weather…
Finally added the current weather conditions to my weblog, right under the calendar. Yay! It was a hassle! I actually wanted to add another MT weather plugin but the website where it gathers the weather info has been taken down.
Then I tried another plugin, but that one didn’t work either. On rebuilding my weblog, I’d get errors galore!
So finally I found one that worked, but it only does the current weather. I wanted to have the current weather then a five-day forecase in a new window with little icons for each possible weather condition. But, alas, it wasn’t meant to be; maybe I’ll create little weather icons anyway. :cheeky:
