happy b-day?

I think today is the…

I think today is the birthday of one of my old best friends from like waaaayy back in the day. We were like eight or nine? I remember cuz my sister was born around that time and she’s seven years younger than me. Anyways, my best friend lived in the apartment upstairs from me. God, I have so many good memories of that apartment building (it was a three-flat in the Little Village community in Chicago).

I remember laying on the lawn and looking up at the sky and it looked like the house was falling cuz the clouds were moving. Me & Erica (the best friend I was talking about) one time got into this huge fight over a purple pencil. Good times man.

She was my first experience with girl-girl experimentation and I found out it wasn’t for me (no comments from the peanut gallery on that one). Anyways, happy b-day wherever u are.

I came up with an…

I came up with an idea for a muscle T stamp: “cross-platform”. Just imagine walking around with a muscle T that says “cross-platform” in the front… hmmm… just a thought.

Anyways, I had been looking for a way to have all my shortcuts to my oft-used programs on my desktop. I *was* using a Director movie that had buttons to these programs but it was hard to update. So.. then I found a freeware program that allows you to set the programs to launch from it (Launcher). But then today my friend said I can just make a new folder on my taskbar and put my shortcuts in there.

Why didn’t I think of that? :???: That’s exactly what I wanted: a compact, concise, and quick way to access all my shortcuts in one location.

This is where I found a small and simple flash detect & redirect script written in JavaScript.

In other news, I’m still working on the new home page for the company I intern with and I still haven’t gotten everything…. , I know.

new flash

So I finished building and…

So I finished building and optimizing banners for a client yesterday; the Assistant Creative Director and I worked into the night getting all the banners to optimize down the the file size needed by the ad company.

In other news, I’m working on creating a new flash home page for the firm here. Yay! Should I put an Easter Egg in there? :tease:
