taking notice

There are these three people…

There are these three people at my internship whose behavior quirks I’ve come to notice.

What one guy does is he places items on his desk that will guarentee that someone stops and says, “Oh, what an interesting such-&-such item” and he’ll have someone to talk to about it. For example, when a certain movie came out he was the first to see it and the next day he placed the newspaper on his desk on the double-page feature on that movie. And I’m thinking to myself, ‘is he doing this on purpose so people stop and ask if he’s seen it and he can have something to talk about?’ Does it mean he’s starved for attention? Is it that he doesn’t have any topics of convo to talk about on his own so he has to have items strewn about to catch people’s eye?

The second guy is funny in that he makes certain that when he talks everyone is looking at him or paying attention to him. I can stand there and literally see the joy on his face when he knows he’s the center of attention. It’s kinda funny when two people are in their own convo and he’ll hesitate to talk or talk slowly so these other people’ll catch a snippet and ask him about it so he can start all over.

The third person is a woman and what I’ve noticed is that when she sits at the lounge table eating lunch she must be included in *all* conversations. If I’m talking to someone to my immediate left, she’ll catch a snippet and ask, “Who? What are you talking about?” Once someone explains, she’ll say, “Oh, ok.” Even if it’s not something she’ll know anything about, she seems to need to know what everyone is talking about in case she wants to share her opinion.

These were just somethings I wanted to get out of my head and on webpaper.

You know? If you’re not…

You know? If you’re not going to walk out the door, don’t stand in front of it! Jeezz!!! Just this morning while getting off the train, this woman was standing right in front of the doors. Not to one side, not even making herself flat against the sides to not be in the way. No, o’ girl was right in front of the door and there were two people behind her, in front of me. When the doors opened and we noticed she wasn’t moving we each took our turn bumping her out the way. I did say excuse me tho after I exhaled loudly and clicked my tongue.

Damn! Why do people have to be so ignorant!!!

day off

So I took today off…

So I took today off from my internship hadda take care of some stuff. Finally got some good sleep too, didn’t have to wake up early and all that.

I found a script that can turn off comments for my old entries, don’t wanna be hit with comment spam or comment flooding. Well, that script gave me errors so I was able to use another one written for me by a moderator of my hosting site’s forum. Thanks, Robert!

Not that I get a lot of comments in the first place, guess I have many readers instead of talkers :p

Anywhoo, all is good in the world of !!blue. I wanted to see a movie this evening but my man and I didn’t end up going after all. Hopefully we can go out to dinner tomorrow evening. Yes, even married folks have to go on dates!

makes me angry

So, we, as human beings,…

So, we, as human beings, are always evolving right? Ever changing, ever dynamic and ever growing. Human beings grew bigger brains so we could wise up and hunt them mammoths down in one day instead of a week. Females grew instincts to figure out how to pick a mate that’ll stick around for the long haul and be nice to the kids. I’ve heard that in the future we won’t have pinkies cuz we don’t really need them. Evolution.

Most of us don’t have massive amounts of hair all over our bodies because we started wearing clothes—way back in caveman times—so we evolved and now grow hair in certain parts for protection & for accumulating scent (think about it) & things like that.

So where, for the love of all that is good in this world, where did acne come to play in the survival of the human race?
