Riding the train this morning, I saw a woman with a zip-up fleece thing as her coat. I started to feel bad for her walking around wearing that flimsy fleece zip-up in this cold weather. Then I got to thinking, ‘if she can’t afford a coat, why wouldn’t she go to the second-hand store or a consignment shop and buy a used one?’ Man, if it’s *that* cold outside I’d do it in a second. Some of that clothing used to belong to people who’ve passed away; plus, if you go to one in a high-class area, you *will* find some high-class stuff! Anyway, I stopped feeling sorry for her after that and thought about giving her money and saying, “Here’s ten bucks, go to a thrift store and get yourself a decent coat.”
