tears
why is it that I…
why is it that I almost cry when I see the preview—yes, the preview—for the movie Peter Pan?

you ever been hit with…
you ever been hit with memories of your childhood? I mean like really struck by memories, clarity of summer days and foggy mornings?
I was remembering my childhood for some reason. How I’d get headaches if I tried to make myself dizzy. How I could see the big dipper at night in front of my house. How the tree was suprisingly tall and looked taller in the rain. How navy blue the sky was when the sun would go down—this was before they added street lights to our block. How we’d yell at anyone going down the wrong way in our one-way block.
Just for some reasonw as hit with clear memories.
…
so I attended my graduation for my second—and more appropriate for me—Bachelor’s Degree. See, I already have one in Business Administration but it didn’t suit me. Yeah, I learned a lot about marketing, accounting, management, customer service and all that jazz. But I didn’t know what to do with it. Mostly became a glorified Executive Assistant >:| B-O-RRR-I-N-G!!
Anyways, the graduation was nice—small and cozy-like. In attendance were my man, my parents, my sister and my sister’s current man. The funniest party was when we were lining up in our seats I was the first to sit down when the rest of the graduates were still lining up. Well, I laughed out loud at my silliness :-Þ
Afterwards we went to a nice little Italian restaurant I like called Leona’s on Taylor street. We were going to go to this other place that was all fancy & expensive but why spend that much if my parents weren’t even going to eat that much cuz it was late at night & they can’t eat much at night.
So I finished flowing copy…
So I finished flowing copy and images into a website for work—actually for a client that hired the company I work for. And let me tell you, the chick promised her bosses we’d have the site done by the end of the year and we’re over here running around with like a million infinitesimal changes.
It was a lot of lining things up right and switching images and making all the ® marks superscript. So anyways they actually put the site up live before even looking at it themselves. Then they hadda take the forms out cuz what my supervisor used for the form post method. Don’t ask me tho, cuz I don’t know any asp.
