So I got off the painkillers cuz (and I know you read the side effects of the painkillers too) they got a side effect of being habit forming. And since addiction runs in my family I’d rather feel some pain than face an addiction. U know?

Anhow, don’t feel as bad as all that. If the pain gets worse I can take one pill; weird thing is that my teeth hurt too. Course it could be that last wisdom tooth I got that I was too scared to have removed while awake. :-Þ

It’s been three days since my surgery and I’m beginning to feel normal again (whatever normal means!). Of course, I couldn’t have made it this far without the painkillers. Whoot! I’m on Acetaminophen w/Codiene—which I’m told is like opium. Double-whoot!

But actually I don’t feel all *high* or anything, mostly feel extra alert. My nose isn’t dripping fluids anymore and I’ve managed to clean out all the crusted blood out. Can’t wait til Monday when they take the plastic things outta my nose.

That’s what bothers me the most. Also, I think the stitches are dissolving so that’s more fluid that is traveling up and down my nose. meh

So I feel a little better today; still need the painkillers tho cuz the stilts in my nose are so bothersome! Ugh!

Anyhow, I can’t fix my desktop computer here @ home. I created profiles so the teens in the family can log-in on their own so they don’t install spyware by accident—which happens a lot!

The problem is that Winamp generates errors when they are logged in, but not when I’m logged in. Hopefully, I can find help in my network of friends out there.

I had my surgery yesterday to correct my deviated septum and to also correct some other bones that were “curved the wrong way.” Hey, that’s what the doctor said as he pointed to my CT-Scan. So with the painkiller, I’m doing pretty good. Except there are these two “stilts” tjat are currently inside my nose holes which hold up my nose straight. So when the pain killer stars to fade then I feel the stilts as kinda bothersome. But not enough to make me cry “Dios, Salvame!” [God, Save me!]

I’m recovering at my parent’s house cuz no one takes care of you like your own people. At my house, my man’s at work and his family isn’t going to give me the love & attention I need. Not that I’m spoiled or anything.
