Well, I haven’t been in lately cuz it’s been a busy week. Monday my man & I attended a wake for the late Hector Perez. He’s an old friend of ours from back in the day. He stopped hanging around with the crew and supposedly turned Ambro (that’s a gang). So he was found dead Saturday and Monday was the wake.

Then Tuesday was the funeral mass & burial so we attended those too. Then Wednesday I went back to work and it was a busy day plus we were let out at 3pm. Then I came home and bought all the stuff needed for a lasagna recipe I found online. It sounds good, plus tells you how to make the sauce fresh & not from a bottle.

This weekend was a blockbuster weekend, and we rented two flix and one stand-up show: 28 days later, The Core and Martin Lawrence’s Runteldat.

As far as which one I liked the best, it’d have to be 28 days later then The Core but Runteldat gets a thumbs-down. It wasn’t as funny as his earlier stand-up shows I’ve seen.

Hadda CT scan today. It was ok, not too scary; I was expecting this big to-do about it. But it was “put your chin here, put ur hands under your hips, this strap will hold you and don’t move.” Wow, out of context that sentence doesn’t sound right

Anyhow, I got copies and I’m funny looking! Of course, my fill-ins in my teeth give off a sparkly shine “bling, bling” LOL.

you know that strip on fish tanks that shows a certain color depending on the temperature of the water in the tank? or those mood rings that change color too?

Ok, they should have something like that for fruit. So if the fruit is going bad the strip changes color:

• Just of the vine – Light Green
• Ripe – Orange
• Riper – Red
• Really Ripe but still Edible – Maroon
• I wouldn’t eat this if I were you – Brown
