Notice there’s a fast lane and a slow lane, too…

It’s amazing to me how few people revolt …

So what I’ve noticed in my life so far is that the sidewalk, stairs, escalators, and other such things are like the road. Next time you’re walking down the sidewalk, notice how people tend to stay on the right side and the people going the opposite way stay on ‘their’ right side. Notice there’s a fast lane and a slow lane, too.

Like on the escalators people who don’t wanna walk up the escalators stay to the right and those who do go faster go to the left. Just like the street; fast lane, slow lane. Are we creatures of habit or what?! We’re all just sheep!

It’s amazing to me how few people revolt ; how we stop at red lights when we’re supposed to; how we don’t just go buck-wild and wear no shoes and no shirts to go shopping.

Here are some questions to think about:

  • Why do we need laws?
  • Do laws limit or create our freedom?
  • Do laws reflect community values?
  • Can laws address the needs of different minority groups?
  • Should people obey laws which they disagree with?

Talk amongst yourselves children… :p

so-called magic

…and dude said it was his mind and that we only use such & such percentage of our mind.

You know my purse is made of “real faux leather”?…

Ok, so I gotta tell you this story my bro-in-law told me. See, he knows this guy that is allegedly able to change radio stations with the power of his mind. That they were in a car and the guy was moving his finger and the radio station would change. Then they were in anther car and the dude was in the back seat and he was still able to change the radio stations.

So my bro-in-law asked him how he was able to do it and dude said it was his mind and that we only use such & such percentage of our mind. Well, ever since then my man and I do this ‘finger-move’ when something is asked of us. Like “bring me a glass of water?” and he’ll do the finger-move. It’s so funny! Guess you have to be there :D

“Weeee”

You know? I was thinking yesterday…

Here’s where I get all philosophical & shit…

…they got some pretty watches and I’m a sucker for accessories.

This morning I saw a guy in rollerblades in his suit & tie carrying his suitcase. “Weee!”, well, he didn’t actually say “wee” but I felt like he did. :p It struck me as odd to see a full-on ’suit & tie’ guy in rollerblades. Then I saw him go into a shop to change his shoes and get them shined up. Nice.

You know? I was thinking yesterday. I saw an ad for latest installment of the Matrix and the tagline was “Everything that has a beginning also has an end” or something to that effect and it got me thinking: Does time have an end?
