… But it’s not the driving force in my life
So, I’m not doing anything particularly mind challenging today at my internship. Seems like I’m paid to do research on the Internet. Lately, I’m interested in finding web statistics such as which browser is being used and screen resolutions, and all that jazz.
For those of you interested, the mediam salary for web designers is $48,000 (according to AIGA Salary Survey for 2003). Of course to view the full salary survey you hafta be a member of AIGA & it costs $20 bucks. That’s $20 bucks Ima spend on myself ok? :p
So, if anyone knows of a place where I can find browser stats for free, u lemme know ok? Is anyone even reading this?
Been feeling lonely lately, might be the fucked up weather here in the Windy City. Haven’t seen the sun all week or last week either. Had a friend call me yesterday and we talked about the job prospects on the horizon; there are none by the way and I’m getting scared.
See, I like money, I want more of it. But it’s not the driving force in my life. The driving force in my life is that I am happy and continue to be happy. I’m basically an optimist, just cuz I don’t have the money to buy myself a new purse don’t mean that’s going to make me work more to buy it. I’ll get a purse eventually…
I do want an iPod kind of desperately, but even that doesn’t motivate me to work, to find a higher paying job. So… what motivates me? I honestly couldn’t tell u….I don’t think I even know who I am
