best blog entry ever

So, that’s when I hadda *really* get up and go to work.

Why wouldn’t people upgrade anyway?

…and so far the ticket-getting experience has been sucky!

Just testing my new movabletype blog. Hadda heck of a time setting it up tho; but once I got it up it was easy-peasy after that.

Don’t know what else to say… hmm…well, I like long walks along the beach… LOL

anways…

Extended entry? Ok, sure why not?

Um.. this morning had a bitch getting up. DAMN that SNOOZE button! What made it worst is that I dreamt I was already up and picking out what to wear. But then I realized that what I was picking out is not actually anything I own (a turquoise skirt with some kinda velvet design with a big bow on the top right hand side, ugh!).

So, that’s when I hadda *really* get up and go to work.

Today @ work I hadda test a page I built in Netscape 4.77 (kill me!) and, of course, it didn’t look right. What is it with designers having to optimize for ancient browsers? Then when u fix it for the ancient browsers, then it looks like crap on the recent ones.

Why wouldn’t people upgrade anyway? It’s like my supervisor said “it’s like looking out a broken window” and more truer words were never spoken. I’m kinda afraid to view my site in Netscape 4.7, but I did and it’s pretty bad lemme tell u! Oops! The html inline frames won’t show up; the php form is all chewed up; but the flash was ok. Only cuz I have the flash plug-in, cuz I’m a rock star!

Finally got tickets to see Cerati in concert live at some new theatre and so far the ticket-getting experience has been sucky! See, I refuse to pay ticketmaster “fees” so I always go to the ticket box of wherever anyone is playing. But the theatre where Cerati’s playing is selling them via Volume Entertainment (V5). SO… when V5 said they had tickets, they didn’t.

When they said they’d call me when they got them, they didn’t. Ticketmaster doesn’t have the seating chart so we can buy the optimal seats (oh yeah, baby, I needa be in front!). And V5 said they sent Ticketmaster the seating chart, but they didn’t. So finally, my man bought them from some record store in Little Village (Chicago). And we have no idea where we’re sitting but we got the most expensive ones. :p

Will write more later…
